Specialized Allez Single Speed 55cm
4 Dec
Here we have a 55cm Specialized Allez, this is a frame from the 80’s made of Cromo Prestige tubing. The fork and frame are lugged and the fork crown has the stamped S, the frame is a faded red color and has no dings or rust. All built up and she weighs in at about 18.5 pounds, nice and light! The parts list is a follows and has all been put together with great care and a liberal amount of Phil Wood bearing grease. Specialized BB 68×112 and very smooth, used Shimano 105 crank set and a brand new Origin 8 46t chain ring with new bolts. The cranked is hooked up to a new Shimano 17t freewheel with a Sram PC-1 chain. Almost new wheel set is a pair silver high flange Bianchi hubs, fixed/free, laced to a pair of silver Alex 28h rims, the rims are wrapped in a pair of new 700cx23 Continental Ultra Sport pumped up to about 120 p.s.i. This machine is stopped by a pair of Black 80’s Diacompe “Royal Gran Compe” single pivot brakes with new cables, housing and cross top in-line brake pulls. New Ritchey “Logic” headset with 1” Sakae quill stem and a set of chopp/flopp Signature handle bars wrapped in new black Thick n Zesty bar tape. Laprade seat post with very nice older San Marco Era saddle. Had this thing out on the streets today and she rips.
